Old Charter Oak French Oak

The result of an acquisition of a small number of superior French oak barrels from France in 2007, the Old Charter French Oak Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a masterfully crafted dram bottled at 92-proof. Composed of Buffalo Trace's distinct mash bill #1 - the same recipe used to make Eagle Rare and other prolific bourbons - Old Charter French Oak is NAS whiskey aged for a minimum of 12 years in these unique, imported French casks and was released in November of 2021. The nose introduces hues of vanilla sugar, floral, and honey between hints of sun-soaked fruits and spice. On the palate are layers of honey, syrup, and vanilla over oak and white peppercorn. Old Charter French Oak Kentucky Bourbon finishes with a last swathe of warm honey and soft leather for a rich and rewarding sip from beginning to end.
