This award-winning Scorpion Silver Mezcal is made in small batches in Oaxaca, Mexico, with a real scorpion in every bottle. This version is freshly distilled and bottled without aging. The distinctive bottle comes with it's own little Scorpion Mezcal® sombrero. Gold Medal / 94 points, BTI. Silver Medal, SF World Spirits Competition. (100% Agave, 750 ml, 40% abv). Also known as Blanco, Joven or Plata, this mezcal is the initial fresh distillate and offers the best pure expression of the agave plant. Clear. Complex, fruit fudge and smoky nose. A soft, round entry leads to a smooth medium body with delicate lemon grass, dried fruit, and spice flavors. Finishes with a long, silky, sweet, and hot spicy finish. A velvet brick.
