Aberfeldy 15 Year Old Cabernet Sauvignon Cask Finish Highland Single

The limited edition Aberfeldy 15 year single malt scotch whisky was finished in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks, adding a hint of blackberry, plum jam, toasted oak and a touch of pepper to the whisky. On the nose, one can detect black cherry, orange peel, milk chocolate and creamy toffee. On the palate, the whisky reveals notes of butterscotch, fruitcake, and Christmas spices. The finish is lingering but smooth, with red wine and honey notes.
